SAILOR FOUNTAIN PEN was founded in 1911 in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and has continued to produce writing instruments alongside the people who use them.

In our pursuit of functionality as a writing instrument and the beauty of color and nature, we have created a number of products, many of which are based on the theme of the "Four Seasons of Japan," which is embodied in our Japanese sense of beauty.
In 2017, a group of writing instruments based on the theme of the four seasons underwent a transformation into one series called SHIKIORI which shares the appeal of the four seasons while focusing on authentic quality.
